Airports Centre of Excellence (ACoE) delivers excellence projects for its members. The projects are designed in partnership and a specific methodology is applied depending on the nature and objectives. The aim of these projects is to deliver not only change but the best possible outcome in terms of operations, financial and customer experience.
Areas of Focus
ACoE has a focus on 4 types of airport projects:
Process Improvement Projects:
For improving existing processes and services to world class performance levels.
Right First-time Projects:
For ensuring that any new products or services will deliver the desired operational and financial performance required.
Innovation Projects:
Applying new ideas and technologies to deliver services in a better way in order to achieve higher performance levels for both the airports and the passengers.
Transformation Projects:
Ensuring any changes to products and services are fully understood (requirements) and making sure the appropriate level of project governance is applied in order to deliver the change which will meet the required performance and customer service levels.

ACoE utilises resources who have specific skills and expertise in the services listed above. ACoE has access to experienced airport project managers, technical architects, consultants, analysts, researchers and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belts (MBB). All projects are delivered in partnership with the airports under a strict tried and tested governance process.
